A thorough, unhurried clinical picture of your circumstances — carried out by a BABCP accredited therapist and NMC registered mental health nurse — so you leave with clarity and a clear plan, not just a leaflet.
A Mental Health Assessment is a structured, in-depth conversation designed to build an accurate understanding of your current difficulties, their history, and how they're affecting your day-to-day life. It's often the first step for anyone unsure where to begin, or looking for clarity before committing to a course of therapy.
Every assessment is carried out personally by Arlene Alexander-Price — an NMC registered mental health nurse since 2004 and a BABCP accredited therapist of close to two decades' standing — and draws on validated, evidence-based tools rather than a generic checklist.

Four core elements, carried out with the same rigour every time.
A thorough conversation exploring your history, current difficulties and what you're hoping to change.
Recognised, evidence-based measures used to build an accurate, defensible clinical picture.
A careful, sensitive review of risk and wider needs, so nothing important is missed.
A clear summary of findings and recommendations, in plain language you can act on.
Six steps, from first enquiry to a clear plan forward — each one designed to keep things simple and transparent, so you always know what happens next.
From your first message through to your written outcome and onward planning, every step is carried out personally, with the same care and rigour throughout.
