An in-depth evaluation to clarify diagnosis, understand the underlying causes of your difficulties, and plan out the most effective next steps — carried out by a BABCP accredited therapist and NMC registered mental health nurse.
A Psychological Assessment goes further than a general review of your wellbeing. It's a detailed, structured evaluation designed to clarify diagnosis, understand the underlying causes of your difficulties, and set out the most effective next steps — whether that's a specific therapy, further assessment, or onward referral.
Every assessment is carried out personally by Arlene Alexander-Price — an NMC registered mental health nurse since 2004 and a BABCP accredited therapist of close to two decades' standing — and combines clinical interview with standardised, validated psychometric tools.

Four core elements, carried out with the same rigour every time.
An extended clinical conversation exploring your history, symptoms, and how they present day to day.
Validated, evidence-based measures used to build an accurate and defensible diagnostic picture.
A clinical formulation linking your difficulties to their likely origins, not just their symptoms.
A clear diagnostic summary and next-step recommendations, in language you can act on.
Six steps, from first enquiry to a clear diagnostic outcome — each one designed to keep things simple and transparent, so you always know what happens next.
From your first message through to your written report and onward planning, every step is carried out personally, with the same care and clinical rigour throughout.

A focused, unhurried session — up to 90 minutes — exploring your history and current presentation.
Standardised measures are used where appropriate, to add clinical depth beyond conversation alone.
A written diagnostic formulation and clear recommendations follow, so you know exactly what comes next.
Where appropriate, we'll guide you toward therapy, further assessment, or onward referral.
